Purple Flare 3 Analogue Interconnects * NEW *
Available mid-summer
Nordost's Purple Flare 3 Interconnect is constructed using six, 26 AWG, silver-plated, solid core, OFC conductors arranged into three, twisted pairs. Each twisted pair is individually shielded before being bundled and secured in a second, braided shield, providing 97% coverage, virtually eliminating noise.
Purple Flare 3 Analog Interconnects are terminated with gold-plated Neutrik Profi RCAs or Neutrik XLRs. The design of these signal cables creates the ideal interface for mid-fi and hi-fi components alike. This high-speed, low-loss interconnect provides a broad bandwidth that preserves the dynamic power and momentum of your music. Elevate your listening experience with the Purple Flare 3 Analog Interconnect.
Lengths over 2m available: £110 per additional 1/2 meter

Purple Flare
Nordost’s Purple Flare range is the second tier in our entry-level, Leif family. Purple Flare cables use Nordost’s core cable design, including silver-plated, solid core conductors and FEP extrusion as well as integrating patented Micro Mono-Filament technology for enhanced signal transfer speed and accuracy. Wired with a loom of Purple Flare cables, your sound system will begin to take shape, providing you with a sense of coherency and precision that is unattainable with standard cabling.
Analogue Interconnects
Your sound system deserves an audio cable that will allow your hifi components to shine—maximizing signal transmission without the distracting, and often degrading, effects of filtration and tonal enhancements. Nordost produces low-mass interconnects with optimal signal transfer speed and perfect impedance matching, which impart a neutral presence on your system, letting your components perform as they were intended. The defining factor in our signal cables isn’t found in filters, or rare exotic materials, but rather in precise manufacturing techniques and groundbreaking technology. Nordost’s neutral solution to cabling produces the perfect interconnects for any level sound system.

… excellent separation between the main and background voices, along with a fine rendering of tones in the acoustic guitars and strings. It wasn’t as if, with the Nordost [Purple Flare], the tonal range or soundstage was now drastically different; the effect was more one of greater clarity, which in turn made the sound more focused and three-dimensional.
